Product Introduction:

Mycoplasma는 세포벽이 없는 최소형 원핵생물로, 다양한 형태를 나타내며 세균 여과막을 통과하고 인공 배지에서도 증식할 수 있는 미생물입니다. 균사 및 분지 형태를 형성하는 특징 때문에 마이코플라스마라는 이름이 붙었습니다.

세포배양에서 마이코플라스마 오염은 가장 흔하면서도 간과되기 쉬운 문제 중 하나입니다. 오염된 세포는 형태와 기능에 변화가 나타날 수 있으며, 세포 증식 저하, 대사산물 생산 감소 또는 세포 기능 이상이 발생할 수 있습니다. 또한 오염이 눈에 띄지 않게 진행되는 경우도 많아, 정기적인 마이코플라스마 검사와 효과적인 제거가 안정적인 세포배양 연구를 위해 매우 중요합니다.
